Text Chat.

The Text Chat works in every device including all mobile devices and is the most popular part of HamSpace. Members in the text chat can answer just about any question new users may have about getting started on HamSpace. The text chat is open to the general public and non members. Guests get a generated guest name and an Alien head - tap the head to change it to a Man or Girl.

Profile Set Up.

In your Control Panel you can edit your profile. Fill in your information and Opt-in to Making Friends, or no one will know you are a member and you will not be able to see the Making Friends page, other members' profiles and pictures, or who is online. By default all New Members are Opted-out of Making Friends.

Affiliation.

The General Public has always been welcome on HamSpace, which is why there is an Affiliation choice in your profile. It makes a nice conversation starter for people with the same interests.

Profile Picture.

You can add a profile picture in your Control Panel (PNG, JPEG, GIF or WEBP, up to 600 KB). It must be in good taste.

Send Notes.

Notes are private messages between members. When you have a new Note, the NOTES link at the top shows a count - click it to read. Reply by clicking the sender's name. Notes are automatically deleted after 10 days.

Weirdo Blocking.

We all know or have dealt with some strange people in our lives which is why we have 100% Weirdo Blocking. Set a member to Weirdo on their profile and you will no longer receive any Notes from them. By default all Members are set to Friend. If a Weirdo becomes a major distraction in the text chat or other parts of HamSpace they will be removed.

Lost Password.

Pop into the text chat as a guest and ask an admin - we will set you a new one.
