About Us
Started March 2023 with a main focus on having Fun. Originally developed for a group of Ham Friends that were all on the same Net. While waiting for our turn to make a call we would send funny emails back and forth to each other. As more of the Net users wanted in on the emails it became very difficult to do any real time communication. This is how HamSpace was started so Friends could easily communicate with each other in real time. A way for all of us to keep in contact with each other not only while on the Net but through the years to come.
HamSpace has evolved into a social media platform but has still kept its original concept of creating a Ham Radio Community where all Licensed Hams could have their own fun space to hang out, keep in contact with their old friends and make new friends.

In Memory of Sam, KI6DTC - Silent Key
Sam built HamSpace.me in March 2023 for his friends on the net, and kept adding to it - the text chat with its alien heads and crazy net emojis, the Notes, the Schedule board, the UFO Fighter game, the Horse Racing game, the Top DX'er contests (he won the first one himself with 31 confirmed DX contacts in 60 hours) and finally his own Mumble voice server.
When HamSpace.me went dark, a group of his friends brought it back here as HamSpace.club, rebuilt from the copy saved on archive.org, so the community he started can keep going. Read Sam's page. 73, Sam.
We also remember Wayne Hester, NK4T, HamSpace member #187. All HamSpace Silent Keys.
